LINKS – “97 Barz” @hardtolink

LINKS has been through it all and has seen it all. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and grew up in cities all over The United States. He was a foster child in his early years, and grew up learning to adapt to different downs and finding new friends everywhere he went. Part of how he chose the name ‘LINKS’, is because he’s the only connection ‘LINK-ing’ them up together, although, it’s hard to ‘link’ him to one place. “Well I mean, I’ve always been a hyperactive kid running around on Ritalin, but I channeled my anxiety/aggression through sports, music and arts.” – LINKS
He served in the Air Force for 4 years, and has currently graduated his Bachelor Degree in Recording Arts in 2014. With music being his main passion, LINKS has been inspired by artists like The Great Marvin Gaye, Lil Wayne,T.I., LL Cool J, and The Notorious BI.G. He’s influenced by many different genres, but the ones which have influenced him the most would have to be Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, Blues and Rap. He is a mixture of sounds and really just loves great music when he hears it. It’s now his time to morph into the great music artist that he knows he is. In 2018, LINKS will be releasing his latest album “The Struggle Is Over”. He is the result of hard work and the mainstream in need of an artist like himself. “I have the confidence of a model, the heart of a lion, the head of a mascot and the fans are what keep me going. So keep bringing the love and support!” – LINKS
‘The Struggle Is Over’ (T.S.I.O.), is LINKS’ transition project between his last album and his next album. “ I want to educate, open minds, and share my experiences…The reason why I put my lifestyle into my music is because I want to be a voice for those who don’t have one… People don’t realize that whatever you put into your body, you digest it, then it comes out. That saying does not only pertain to food, but also music, media, negative people, avoidable circumstances, and the list could go on.” – LINKS
Anteing up with ‘97 BARZ’, the second release & intro off his long awaited new EP T.S.I.O., LINKS is showing off his lyrical savviness and diverse flow while inserting real life experiences. With another progressive trap beat, reinforced with LINKS’ power bars and distinctive delivery, ‘97 Barz’ is that conversation piece that will absorbed your attention for the entire project. A recurring theme in this album, LINKS is #TheNuWave, and interprets the process to success.

Asian-American pop meets hip-hop artist Star2 releases the new single and video for “Just Like Them Waterfalls”. Inspired by a magnetic connection that unfolds over the backdrop of an exotic island soundscape, Star2 will sweep you off your feet with his romantic escape.
Over lush cascades of pizzicato strings, melodic strokes of percussion, and an enchanting vocal, Star2 muses on a budding flirtation. The song’s silky guitars and drum beats echo with island rhythms, immersing the listener in an reggae infused island melody. The strings punctuate and elevate the chorus, conjuring images of hula dancers, swaying palms, and the soft, sweet air of the tropics. The accompanying music video is drenched with lush imagery as Star2 and his love interest explore luxurious palazzos before taking a dive into a serene waterfall. Their journey is framed by the motif of flowing water, the camera highlighting the parallels in their free-flowing and playful connection. “I love the islands – my fantasy getaway! This song is a romantic vibe to get us through the fall and dream of a dope vacation with a beautiful girl, sipping drinks, and enjoying paradise,” adds Star2.
