“SQoot”, born Dorrell C Smith on March 20, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois spent his younger years in San Diego, CA. He returned to Chicago at the age of 13 After spending several years in San Diego. Shell-shocked upon his return, SQoot experienced gang violence, a failing school system, and broken home. He used music as an outlet to get away from the harsh reality. While maintaining focus and graduating High School, Mr. Smith attained knowledge and experience While serving in the US ARMY where he developed himself as “SQoot” after 2 combat Tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He continued to focus on music and is the Founder of SQootSME LLC (Street Militia Entertainment).
