Brillo, hails from Bridgeport, CT! Brillo experienced being incarcerated at the age of 19 and he literally grew up in jail while doing a 8 year sentence. But it was Brillo’s rapping background coupled with the prison rap culture that got him serious about music. Ruff Ryder co-founder Dee, drove to Connecticut 1. and immediately signing him and shooting a video the same day.
Following the successful reception of The General’s Recruit Pt 3 Mixtape, the artist spent the 3. year performing shows around the Northeast including with artist such as DMX, Eve, Swizz Beatz, N.O.R.E, The Lox, Fat Joe, Beanie Sigel, Ja Rule, Casanova, Dream Doll, as well as 4. performing at The Barclays in Brooklyn New York for The Ruff Ryder Reunion 2018 [19,000 5. Audience] . Also made appearances on DJ Vlad Tv, DJ Funk Flex Freestyles [HOT97], DJ Clue [POWER105.1], DJ Self [POWER 105.1] and DJ Kay Slay [SIRIUS XM] making appearances on premier Hip Hop radio stations.
The General Recruit part 1-3 featured top hip-hop recording artists like Swizz Beatz, Vado, Dmx. Beanie Sigel, Mysonne and Ar-Ab. He’s Currently working on a new project called “Who’s Brillo” which is officially dropping summer of 2019. The artist recently released two singles for his upcoming project May 2019. “Money Machine” featuring Jadakiss and “When I’m Gone” are placed on all major digital platforms.
