Inas X is here to declare her place in the music industry. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York but now calling Los Angeles home, real name Inas Maale traded her given last name for a bold “X,” representing empowerment, independence, and perseverance. Coming from humble beginnings as an intern at a major label, the singer-songwriter quickly found her calling and continues to make music out of pure love and passion. Now, she returns to unleash the official music video for “Honey,” premiered exclusively on YouTube and directed by Nimi Hendrix. The new record unveils a side of the Middle Eastern goddess that fans have yet to see, showcasing growth, maturity, and of course, that bad bitch mentality we all can appreciate. “Honey” is a sexy, empowering song you put on when you want to feel good about yourself, reminding the masses to get to their bag by all means necessary. Speaking on the new release, Inas states, “I made it at a time where I felt like you know what, I got my own bread (my own money)! I got it on my own!
