Jay Hype brings new sound of music with EP ‘S.N.A.’

LOS ANGELES, CA – A hot new sound from fast-rising hip-hop artist Jay Hype is such a unique breath of fresh air to the music industry that it has people all over the world sitting up and paying attention.

Her new EP “S.N.A.” is genre-breaking. Its fusion of hip-hop and R&B melds perfectly with her powerful lyricism and one-of-a-kind flow and delivery. Her sound is so groundbreaking that it’s being dubbed as the “new sound in music” – a sound that isn’t just relevant right now, but necessary.

At only age 22, she has become one of the fastst-rising young vocalists and female rappers in the industry. She started her career with the highly successful debut project, “N.E.A.,” which stands for “Not Emotionally Available.” Singles from that project put her on the map and elicited high accolades from some of the most well-known artists in the industry. And now she’s ready to put her name on the map and an even bigger with the release of her follow-up project, “S.N.A. (Still Not Available).” It’s a project that she said continues the story from “N.E.A.,” as well as explores more of the sounds and subject matter she’s become known for. On N.E.A., Jay Hype delivers an assortment of unforgettable tracks, combining sounds of EDM and ground-breaking aura of hip-hop as she describes navigating through the trials and tribulations of drugs, women and newfound fame.

“I make new-age hip-hop and R&B that’s really unique,” she said. “I want my music to be known for touching people and changing lives. I make music that can relate to people through anything – whether it’s feelings, or driving around, or wanting to get turnt up. I have music for everybody. And as long as I can touch people and leave an impact, then I know I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing.”

The debut single from the new EP has been selected for the SoundCloud Fresh Pressed Playlist. “Over Here” is an upbeat club song that she said is a ton of fun and which showcases her unique talent as a vocalist and rapid-fire flow.

“It’s the kind of song that you want to hear when you’re at your peak lit-ness at the club,” she said. “It’s a song that you listen to when you’re not concerned about anything going on around you and you’re just having fun.”

Another hot single from the EP is “Trending Topic,” which she said is equally as fun as “Over Here,” but with a different vibe that’s more soulful and wavy. The lyrics talk about being in a place in one’s life where nothing is overly serious and all you want to do is just hang out without the extra emotional drama.

Anyone who listens to her new EP will know immediately what all the hype is about. Her style is one-of-a-kind. Her delivery is off the charts. Her sound is new, and it’s perfect for today’s music landscape. Don’t sleep on Jay Hype, because she’s about to break through the ceiling of what’s possible with music today.

Step into the cinematic world of “One Of A Kind”, a gripping secret agent story brought to life by pop-rap innovator Star2 and Thai superstar SPRITE.The music video follows SPRITE and Star2 as they take on the roles of stealthy operatives hired by a rich businessman to free his kidnapped daughter from shadowy captors. Dressed in tactical ninja attire that fuses street style with spycraft, they engage in a high stakes mission to track down their targets and bring the daughter to safety. Their daring escape unfolds on a longboat gliding through Bangkok’s iconic Chao Phraya River. SPRITE displays his rap talent and rapid-fire lyrics. Star2 complements him with his emotional delivery and trademark melodic style. Beyond the action packed visuals, their collaboration weaves a poignant narrative that reflects on shared struggles with poverty, early age responsibilities, and the challenges of rising to fame.

Star2, a fan of SPRITE, reached out to collaborate after releasing a single with Luh Kel called “I Wanna Get F’d Up” – coincidentally, SPRITE’s favorite artist since Luh Kel’s hit song “Wrong” – leading to an introduction and, as fate would have it, a collaboration in Thailand where the trio filmed “Where Would You Go?” (out on January 17, 2025), while Star2 and SPRITE also created “One of a Kind”.
