(Video) Landstrip Chip – Round 2 @LandstripChip

East Atlantia native Landstrip Chip’s journey through music is as unconventional as it is inspiring. Born into a musically inclined household, the youngster first caught the music bug after being introduced to the likes of Snoop Dogg and Sade. Taking his career seriously, Landstrip Chip went on to release his debut project, No Feelings, which caught the attention of respected super producer Sonny Digital. This laid the groundwork for a successful start-up and was followed by the release of a bevy of material that was not only much anticipated but also well-received by his growing audience. Now, at only the age of 26, Landstrip Chip is already a multi-platinum selling, billboard-award-winning songwriter, producer, and artist who has landed songs with such artists as City Girls, Tinashe, Ella Mai, French Montana, and a handful of others.
Now, putting his all into artistry, Chip looks to be one of the most prolific artist-songwriter combos in the coming years. With a massively bright future on the horizon, Landstrip Chip has partnered with Asylum Records and with the announcement has released his electrifying new single, “Round 2.” The record, which was written and produced alongside OG Parker, G. Ry, and Kid Culture, introduces a new and unique sound for the record-breaking songwriter and producer. He’s been working on his craft for the past few years, now releasing ahead of his forthcoming EP, Catch My Good Side. Stream “Round 2” on all digital retailers and watch the visual here.

(Video) Star2 x Seko – “Once in a While” @Star2Official

Thai refugee artists Star2 and Seko release “Once In A While”, the heartfelt new single and music video. Both born in the Mae La refugee camp in Thailand, the artists draw on their rich cultural heritage with the song almost entirely sung in the Ka-ren language and the music video filmed in Thailand.
“Once In A While” features poignant lyrics that reflect the deep emotions of longing and love, such as “My tears I secretly wipe them away by myself / I love you so much, so whatever you say is never wrong / I’ll chase after you over a hundred times”. Tugging at your heartstrings, the song is beautifully layered with rich harmonies, delicate piano notes, and a backdrop of female vocals that evoke a sense of connection that feels both intimate and distant. As both artists deliver their verses with raw, unfiltered emotion, the feeling of lost love is one that is never forgotten.
Refugee pop meets hip hop artist Star2 fled his refugee camp as a child when the Burmese Army destroyed their village and attacked them in the middle of the night. Faced with overwhelming heartache and loss growing up, Star2 found his solace in music. He has collaborated with the likes of Soulja Boy, $tupid Young, Mozzy, MBNel, Luh Kel, Lil Poppa, HoodTrophy Bino, YSN Flow, and MarMar Oso just to name a few. Now, Star2 is on a mission to elevate the next generation of Ka-ren and Asian Artists.
