On the 13-track body of work, featuring production from Kid Wonder, All Day, OG Mic Will and more, the Chicago newcomer tells his story the only way he knows how, through genre bending melodies and thought provoking lyrics. Released at a time when Chicago sees its most violent year in over 28 years, with over 3000+ shootings so far in 2020, King Without A Crown is Lil Romo’s ode to his violence wrought city.
“Wishing shit was different, nowadays we can’t have any fun,” Lil Romo raps on his latest single and video, “Long Time,” reflecting on his surrounding. The new track and video comes behind his latest single “223” and the project’s first single, “When I Was Down” (nearly 500K views) released in April.
Romo’s unapologetic storytelling has garnered the attention of an active audience. He burst onto the scene in early 2019 with the release of the street anthem “Let’s Do It,” which has clocked in over 1M views on YouTube to date. With follow up hit “Move For Me” at half a million views and all recent releases amassing hundreds of thousands of hits in mere days, Chicago newcomer Lil Romo’s trajectory is true to his position at the #1 spot on Chicago media outlet WhatsTheWord’s 2020ArtistToWatch list.
Born and raised in Englewood, Chicago, 18-year-old Lil Romo faced some of life’s harshest challenges early on. Romo’s love for music dates back to his pre-teen years and he lists Lil Wayne and Michael Jackson as early musical influences. These artists ignited his appreciation for lyricism and artistry. With intentions of highlighting his unwavering love for his hometown while also anticipating putting all of the negative aspects behind him, Lil Romo zooms in on real life stories about growing up and simply existing in Chicago. With hundreds of thousands of views across YouTube and the release of his highly anticipated debut project, King Without A Crown, Lil Romo is poised for a major year.

Former Heavyweight Champ Prince Charles Martin and USA Boxing Natl champion NOBODYKNOWBIGHAMM Fight The Power”
Prince Charles Martin and Jonathan “Nobody Know Big Hamm” also known as the Philosophical Fighters are taking their fighting skills to a new level, and fighting with their voice social justice, the empowerment of women, respect for all people of color, and challenging the cowards in the District of Columbia that are doing their best to revert our country to the days of Jim Crow.
Prince Charles Martin stated, “if we are going to take down these people in power, we must come together as a team. We need all nationalities (rich and poor) to unite against these rich oppressors, because it is the US against the White House”. Public Enemy said it best, we must “Fight the Power.”
Jonathan “Nobody Know Big Hamm” said, “for years we have let them divide us, use us, and brainwash us into turning against our own.” They preyed on the weak, the uneducated, but that is a thing of the past, because we are WOKE! We are going to UNITE; we are here to FIGHT for all that have been victimized by the actions and policies of a corrupt government. Fight The Power!

Jonathan Hamm wants us to Stand With Our Immigrants!!!! @nobodyknowbighamm
Jonathan Hamm is a former NFL, #1 ranked USA Boxing Champion and Hollywood actor (Big Fan), discusses social justice and unity amongst African Americans and Hispanics during this political climate. Big Hamm’s TikTok is a motivational mix of women empowerment, philosophy and down to earth politics with his southern heavy Atlanta accent.
BigHamm stated in an interview with WelshDaGod that, “Growing up in a family of Freemasons, I was born to be of service to the people. My grandmother was the Grand Matron of Georgia and my mother was the Head of Education of Freemasons Order of The Eastern Stars”(BigHamm). His parents were taught to live a life of service by his late great grandmother Gracie Mae Smith who would spend her last dollar feeding random people of need in the streets of Atlanta. Big Hamm’s grandfather John Bell is a 33rd degree Freemason and he served on S.N.C.C (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee) with Atlanta greats, Martin Luther King, John Lewis, Ralph David Abernathy and Andrew Young.
