Arkansas artist MaYoun introduces MaYoun Music as Music that Makes A Difference

FORDYCE, AR – Music isn’t defined into one category. There are multiple genres and sub-genres and fusions of sound that have long made music appealing to people all over the world. But in an American culture that sometimes seems stuck in commercial music, people are begging for something new and original.

MaYoun Music is the answer to that. It is the kind of music that can appeal to so many different audiences that it cannot be classified into one genre. It cannot be defined by one set of preconceived structures because there never has been anything like MaYoun Music. The songs and sounds from this crafty artist residing in Southern California are so unique that it’s almost like he’s making a custom-made radio station for each and every listener in the world.

His new EP “MaYoun Music” puts that originality on full display. The six songs on the project express the versatility and various exploratory sounds he brings to the industry. They’re new sounds – authentic, with real flows and real lyrics that connect with people from all walks of life. The project has slow songs, fast songs, party songs, introspective songs and just about everything else in between.

But MaYoun Music is more than just listening to good music and having a good time. MaYoun Music is about making a difference in the world. It’s about setting an example. It’s about people seeing an artist from a small country town in Arkansas who did it the right way – who walked away from selling drugs and becoming involved in gangs and instead chose to put his energy and passions into making truly original music. And out of that success MaYoun has given back to his community, using his platform to bring awareness to the ills of the world and encouraging younger generations to think about the consequences of their actions and poor decisions.

“I really just want my music to be known as music that makes a difference,” MaYoun said. “I have a melodic sound though it’s not a sound that you’d be used to hearing right now. It’s different and it stands out. I feel like I have the sound of today but I’m always putting the substance of early 2000s in there that everybody loves. I always try to keep some kind of substance and teach something or express something I’ve been through in a way that people can relate to it. Giving back is the whole idea behind MaYoun Music. I’m an artist who really just loves music and wants to use my platform to help my community and make a difference on things that are going on in the world. I haven’t always been a squeaky clean guy but I decided to go a different route, and God has blessed me to have music that can make a difference.”

Jonathan Hamm is a former NFL, #1 ranked USA Boxing Champion and Hollywood actor (Big Fan), discusses social justice and unity amongst African Americans and Hispanics during this political climate. Big Hamm’s TikTok is a motivational mix of women empowerment, philosophy and down to earth politics with his southern heavy Atlanta accent.

BigHamm stated in an interview with WelshDaGod that, “Growing up in a family of Freemasons, I was born to be of service to the people. My grandmother was the Grand Matron of Georgia and my mother was the Head of Education of Freemasons Order of The Eastern Stars”(BigHamm). His parents were taught to live a life of service by his late great grandmother Gracie Mae Smith who would spend her last dollar feeding random people of need in the streets of Atlanta. Big Hamm’s grandfather John Bell is a 33rd degree Freemason and he served on S.N.C.C (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee) with Atlanta greats, Martin Luther King, John Lewis, Ralph David Abernathy and Andrew Young. Despite his athletic background style and offset delivery, BigHamm was born to be of service to the people. Follow him on TikTok @nobodyknowbighamm for more.

Step into the cinematic world of “One Of A Kind”, a gripping secret agent story brought to life by pop-rap innovator Star2 and Thai superstar SPRITE.The music video follows SPRITE and Star2 as they take on the roles of stealthy operatives hired by a rich businessman to free his kidnapped daughter from shadowy captors. Dressed in tactical ninja attire that fuses street style with spycraft, they engage in a high stakes mission to track down their targets and bring the daughter to safety. Their daring escape unfolds on a longboat gliding through Bangkok’s iconic Chao Phraya River. SPRITE displays his rap talent and rapid-fire lyrics. Star2 complements him with his emotional delivery and trademark melodic style. Beyond the action packed visuals, their collaboration weaves a poignant narrative that reflects on shared struggles with poverty, early age responsibilities, and the challenges of rising to fame.

Star2, a fan of SPRITE, reached out to collaborate after releasing a single with Luh Kel called “I Wanna Get F’d Up” – coincidentally, SPRITE’s favorite artist since Luh Kel’s hit song “Wrong” – leading to an introduction and, as fate would have it, a collaboration in Thailand where the trio filmed “Where Would You Go?” (out on January 17, 2025), while Star2 and SPRITE also created “One of a Kind”.
