The stylish visual finds the charismatic X and ever-confident Ross on cruise control as they motion their way through the beautiful Miami streets, with Josh even playing a grand piano on a breathtaking Miami beachscape complete with a love interest in the distance. Directed by Picture Perfect, the video captures the soulful throwback vibe that the song evokes, fueled by live instrumentation over a smooth bass and elevated by Josh’s potent wordplay and Ross’ signature roll.
The Queens, NY native is gearing up for the release of his first project for Epic Records later this year in partnership with KSR Group (known for Cardi B, Hoodcelebrityy). Josh is known in production circles as a go-to collaborator with an A-List musical resume, he’s worked with such notables as Swizz Beatz, Brian ‘Birdman’ Williams (co-founder of Cash Money), and others, co-writing a track for FOX’s hit show Empire, and establishing himself as an early production/songwriting presence in Cardi B’s career. The two collaborated on her 2016 single “Selfish,” as well as his own release, “Heaven On My Mind,” which featured the Bronx star and climbed the Billboard Adult R&B chart. As a graduate of Juilliard, the musical prodigy has received mentorship and praise from legends like Brian McKnight and Stevie Wonder, who declared that Josh “continues to carry out the legacy of being a musician that represents real music.”
Calling “All On Me” ‘an ode to triumph and perseverance,’ Josh X is poised for his next breakout moment with the brand new video adding to his already impressive catalog.
