Einstein – Can’t Get Passed It

Einstein fuses Rock, HipHop and R&B with new hit single ‘Can’t Get Passed It’

Rock, Hip Hop, and Trap come together with a fusion of Punk Rock guitar on the latest hit single from West Coast artist Einstein. “Can’t Get Passed It” is an angst-ridden ride of adrenaline that examines the consequences of substance addiction and its effects on romantic relationships.

As the first song off Einstein’s forthcoming EP “Doomed,” the single “Can’t Get Passed It” is the perfect introduction to this talented young artist’s signature sound. Influenced by Punk and Rock growing up, Einstein found a passion for Hip Hop during his teenage years when he stumbled upon Eminem. Those combinations of influences helped him develop an appreciation for lyrics that push boundaries and sounds that embrace all the best parts of multiple genres.

“I grew up listening to a lot of mainstream Pop, but I really like the lyrical content and pushing-the-boundaries of Rap,” Einstein said. “I like more of the raw stuff that’s a little more explicit. That shows in my sound. I do a good job of mixing Rock and Hip Hop but also Trap beats. And I drop some guitar in there and mix in a lot of different sounds.”

Einstein said the EP will explore everything from addiction to relationship struggles to heartbreak, and everything in between. Ultimately, it’s a project that he said will inspire people to rise above their addictions and issues and take accountability for their lives.

“Once you find a love, hold onto it and do anything to keep it,” he said. “So many vices out there are easy to pick up, and I realized too late that if I’d given up drugs, I would have kept the person I was absolutely in love with. That’s why I hope my music is something that people can put on when they’re feeling down or sad, and allow themselves to mourn and connect with it and move through it. I want my music to inspire people to get past whatever they’re going through. A lot of times when you’re sad or tortured, you feel isolated. I can put out something that is relatable and people can connect with, then maybe that’ll help them get past those moments.”

Einstein is an Oregon-based artist who has been making music for years, though he’s just now getting started professionally with the release of the EP “Doomed.” He considers himself to be an emotional-based Hip Hop artist with Rock, Trap and R&B influences. He’ll showcase that sound over the course of the next few months with a series of single releases before officially dropping the full EP in December.
